Location of classes / what we provide
Many of our clients prefer onsite training at their location. We provide the TV/DVD player with remote. You provide chairs, and enough space for manikin practice. If you do not have a large enough area, we can schedule a class at one of our other training sites.
Our CPR classes are Adult, Infant, and Child. The AED classes include Adult and Child components. We also offer First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and other industry courses. For healthcare providers, our classes provide BLS for Healthcare providers.
Best class for me
The best class for you depends on your needs. Contact our office to discuss your specific needs.
Length of class
Length of class varies by course. Contact our office to discuss your specific course length.
Minimum class size
The minimum class size is 4 people. If you do not have at least 4 people, you may "combine forces" with another organization, company, or individual to get up to 4 people.
Maximum class size
We do not actually have a maximum class size; however, we find the most effective and time-efficient classes are with 4-12 people. If you have more than 12 people, we will be more than willing to work with you to get everyone trained.
Materials and preparation
A book will be issued to you approximately 2 weeks prior to the class. All of the training is done on the day of the class. Please wear loose, comfortable clothes that will allow you to perform the various skills. Class starts promptly on time.
Each class requires a skills demonstration for successful course completion. No written test is required for Heartsaver classes. However, all classes at the healthcare provider level require a written test.
Issuance of cards
Cards will typically be issued by mail or in-person within 10 business days.
Length of certification
The majority of our certifications are valid for a full 2 year period.
Refunds and cancellations
A refund, less a $10.00 processing fee, will be given if notice is received at least ten days before the first scheduled day of class. No refunds will be given with less than a ten day notice.
Getting replacement card
We will issue a replacement card as long as we have a record on file verifying your course completion. The cost of replacement cards is $6.00 per card. We will mail your card to the address you provide.
If you or your employer needs verification of a course you completed, simply contact our office. We keep secure records of all courses for at least 3 years.
Each of our instructors is currently an American Heart Association instructor in good standing. All of our instructors are monitored periodically.
